Create the building blocks

At Tutor Train, we know that a strong start in primary school builds more than knowledge — it builds confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Our primary tuition helps children in KS1 and KS2 develop the key skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Whether your child needs a gentle boost to catch up, an extra challenge to stretch ahead, or simply a safe space to grow their self-belief, our experienced primary tutors are here to help — online or in-person.

In-person sessions are perfect for building strong tutor–student relationships and boosting your child’s confidence through hands-on activities and tailored support. We make sure every lesson feels encouraging, friendly, and designed around your child’s individual pace and needs.

Face-to-face learning can be especially helpful for children who benefit from practical resources and a calm atmosphere. Our friendly tutors come to your home, providing trusted, convenient support right where your child feels most comfortable.

Online Lessons

with Pencil Spaces Platform

For families who want flexible, engaging lessons at home, our online primary tuition is the perfect fit. Using Pencil Spaces, we create an interactive virtual classroom where children feel comfortable and confident to ask questions, share ideas, and practise new skills.

One of the biggest advantages of online tuition is the option to have shorter, more frequent sessions. Little and often works brilliantly for primary-age children — keeping them focused, building skills step by step, and making learning a natural part of their routine.

We use Pencil Spaces to make online lessons feel just like learning side by side. This secure, interactive classroom lets tutors and students write, draw, and share ideas in real time, keeping lessons clear, fun, and personal. Our online sessions are lively, supportive, and easy to fit around busy family life — all you need is a laptop or tablet, and we handle the rest.

It helps as he teaches me in a different way to school to make it more understandable and I can ask questions and let him know that I struggle on certain points and he leads me through until I get it right.

I think the organisation and responsiveness is excellent. The online learning is working well for my child – it is flexible and fits in with our family life very well.

I really like my online lessons, especially when I get an answer correct as my tutor presses a button and sets of fireworks or balloons to celebrate. That makes me smile.
