In-person Questions
What do I need to provide?
Nothing. The Tutor will provide all materials needed. Please ensure you have a clear, quiet area of the house that can be used – we usually suggest the dining area or offer. Lesson in bedrooms are prohibited.
Does it matter if I have pets?
No, however we do ask that you check if the tutor has any pet allergies or notify the Tutor if they are likely to be aggressive.
Can I leave my child with the Tutor unattended?
No, someone over the age of 18 must be in the house at all times. If you need to pop out for 5 minutes, the tutor will wait in the car while you do this.
Do I stay in the room during the lesson?
You are always welcome to sit in during the lessons, especially if your child is feeling a little unsure. We want you and your child to feel comfortable and safe.
Online Questions
What platform do you use?
Tutors can access Lessonspace, our online learning space with various educational features. You and your Tutor are free to use a different preferred platform; however, please be aware that lessons will not be monitored or recorded on other platforms and may be subject to additional costs.
Can I practice using Lessonspace before the lesson?
Absolutely! We recommend you and your child have a play around with it to feel confident when using it during the lesson. To do this, click on the the online whiteboard tab on your lesson in Tutorcruncher.
I am having trouble with my sound/video.

Is Lessonspace secure?
Yes, only you can access your ‘space’, which is password protected.
Payment Questions
Is there a signup fee?
No. You pay nothing when you start tuition with us. There are no hidden costs.
How do I pay for tuition?
Payment is taken after your lesson through your online tutoring account. Payments are automatic so you never need to worry about missing a payment.
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
No, we do not accept childcare vouchers.
Can I pay pash for lessons?
No, we do not take cash payments for lessons.
