The Tutoring
The Tutor Train is partnered with Lessonspace, where you can choose to deliver your online lessons. These can be accessed via your Tutor account where each student is allocated their own online space.
Lessonspace is a platform designed specifically to support online tutoring and features an interactive whiteboard, where you upload resources for each session. You can talk with your pupils and share cameras (where available) to see each other. All participants in a session can use the tools to mark up or type on all the pages.
All sessions are recorded, and you can export all the resources, complete with markup and annotations, at the end of each session. Pupils and their parents/teachers can review the recording and the resources for that session.
We encourage you to use your professional judgement to cater for the needs and learning style of each student,
Before commencing tuition with a new student, you will be provided with an overview of the students requirements to help you plan and prepare for the lesson. You may find it beneficial to purchase resources to aid your teaching, which will at your own cost.
You are responsibly for organising your own scheduling and rearranging lessons when needed.
A general area of the student will be given for you to decide if you are able to provide in-person tuition. Once agreed, the full address will be given.
